Kevin McCaffrey

Kevin has considerable experience in senior management and consulting within New Zealand and across the Asia Pacific region.

Kevin led the consultancy practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in Strategy Development, Governance Reviews and Change Management. This was across a range of organisations including the private sector, public sector and not-for-profit organisations. He managed the NZ Directors Fees Survey for over 15 years and established Effective Governance NZ in 2006.

His areas of expertise include:

  • Conduct governance reviews
  • Facilitating strategic planning
  • Developing board reporting to link strategy to organisational performance
  • Board and individual director evaluations
  • Governance training for public courses and
    individual clients

Kevin is a Director of three companies and Chair of two Charitable Trusts.

Coral Ingley

Doctor of Philosophy in Corporate Governance
Master Of Philosophy (First Class Honours) in Marketing and International Business
Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Management
Diploma of Business in Marketing Management

Coral completed her PhD in 2004, focusing on the strategic leadership role of the board in influencing corporate direction and organisational performance. Coral has authored over 50 academic papers, of which more than 20 have been published in refereed journals. They cover a range of topics including marketing, international business, management and corporate governance. Coral also supervises doctoral students at Massey University and AUT. An important part of her supervision is an emphasis on high quality research that gains national and international recognition.

Apart from the above expertise, she brings an important knowledge base to Effective Governance as an expert advisor on governance.
